From Fearing Unknown to Limitless Possibilities

How I Got Here

For years, my life looked ideal on paper. I was a corporate lawyer in one of the most prestigious organisations in the world, with the career, the credentials, and the full diary to show for it. What no one saw, including me, was what the fullness was for. I kept myself busy, always on the go, surrounded by people and plans, because staying in motion meant not having to feel what was underneath. I was the yes girl who gave from an empty cup and called it kindness. I planned every step, because for my mind the unknown was the enemy. I didn't question any of it. I thought it was simply my reality. I was living from the neck up, managing life rather than feeling it.

The fear of the unknown is also what kept me in the same organisation longer than I wanted to stay, or than was healthy for me. Holding on to control quite literally made me sick. Slowly the joy drained out of everything. I had no energy, no excitement, and eventually no feelings at all. I was numb. All of this compounded into burnout, which eventually had to stop me.

What brought me back was not another strategy, more discipline, or a better plan. It was slowing down enough to listen. To my body, which had been sending signals for years. To my emotions, which I had treated as interruptions. To the quiet question underneath all the striving: What does my heart desire?

In 2020 I walked away from my legal career, because I knew from the inside that success without wellbeing is not success at all. It was the first time in my life I chose the unknown on purpose. No title, no institution, no path already drawn. And I'll be honest: freedom did not feel like freedom at first. Within two weeks I had filled my empty calendar again, because I had no idea how to be without feeling anxious. My nervous system was not familiar with staying still, I had to retrain it with baby steps.

A year after I left the corporate world, I followed my heart towards a new challenge of becoming my own boss. Through doubts, comparisons, and everything in between, I kept taking steps that felt true, and steadily built my business. Becoming a solopreneur asked me to foremost trust myself in a way employment never had. Instead of fearing the unknown, I was learning to open myself to limitless possibilities and find clarity along the way.

In the years that followed, life brought a teacher I would never have chosen: our nearly three-year fertility journey. In our first year of trying to conceive, I became consumed with learning everything I could, convinced that if I just did enough, I could control the outcome. I thought I was in control. After our first failed IVF cycle, through the grief, a quiet question surfaced: what if I had already done enough? What if, instead of judgment, I could meet myself with compassion? What if timing was never mine to control? Something shifted in me then. The grip started to loosen. I could breathe again.

These chapters taught me the same lessons from different directions. That I can stay fully committed to what I want while releasing my grip on when and how it arrives. That emotions are not interruptions but valuable information, and a foundation of our wellbeing and healthy relationships. That peace, gratitude, and even joy can be found in the midst of struggle, not only after it. Nothing I bring to my clients is theory. I teach what I have lived, and what I am still living.

I built Living Limitless for people standing where I once stood: successful, capable, and quietly sensing that something fundamental needs to change.

What I’ve Learned to Be True

Our emotions are information, not problems to resolve. They tell you what matters before your thinking catches up.

Acceptance is an active practice, not resignation. It is what makes real movement possible.

Trust is an active practice, not a belief that everything will work out. It means letting what you want burn bright inside you while loosening your grip on when and how it arrives.

And change rarely moves in a straight line. Life moves more like a migration, in patterns and seasons, and there is a way to be at home in it, even when things are not yet settled.

My Life Now

I live in Weggis, on Lake Lucerne, where the mountains meet the water and the forest is a short walk from my door. Nature is my second home. I spend a lot of my time there being and wondering. The rest you'll find in the small things: photography, singing, and a long love affair with food and nutrition.

Slow living, for me, is not just doing less. It is living with intention and meaning, and it is a practice I return to daily, not a destination I have reached.

I am still on the journey I guide others through. That is not a disclaimer. It is the reason the work is honest.

If my story sounds familiar in some way, that recognition is worth following.
